Why It Matters…

Every ticket purchased and every dollar raised helps us grow and donate thousands of pounds of fresh produce to local food pantries serving the families right here in our community. Food insecurity continues to affect families throughout the Greater Lawrence area, and access to fresh fruits and vegetables remains one of the greatest needs.

Proceeds from the Gala help fund seeds, supplies, infrastructure, and garden operations that make our harvest possible each season.

Last year, with the support of our community, The Giving Garden:

• Harvested over 17,000 pounds of produce

• Donated more than 90,000 servings of fresh food

• Engaged over 700 volunteers

• Supported local food pantries throughout the region
